Product Description

The FD718 Series Ultraviolet (UV) Flame Detector, is designed for use where open flaming fires may be expected. It is sensitive to ultra-violet radiation emitted by flames during combustion. Since it requires only UV radiation the FD718 series UV flame detector responds also to stationary flames with no flicker like cigarette lighters and blue gas flames.

All of the Sentek's FD-718 series detectors meet the requirements EN 54-10 for use in fire alarm signaling systems, which provide fast and reliable response for visible flame and fire detection. They are intended for use in 2-wire/4-wire supervised zone circuits.
